Charlene Liu recently joined the Art Department of the University of Oregon as an Assistant Professor and principal instructor of the Printmaking area. Prior to joining the University, Liu has lived and worked in New York City for the past ten years. She received her MFA from Columbia University in 2003 and a BA from Brandeis University in 1997.
Recent exhibitions include solo shows at Taylor de Cordoba in Los Angeles, Virgil de Voldere Gallery (New York, NY), Galleria Il Capricorno (Venice, Italy), and Andrea Rosen Gallery 2 (New York, NY). Liu has also participated in recent group shows at The Arts Center of the Capital Region (Troy, NY), Rizziero Arte (Pescara, Italy), ISE Cultural Foundation (New York, NY), Patrick Heide Art Projects (London), and The New Museum (New York, NY).
