Amanda Wojick came to the University of Oregon in 2001 from Ithaca, New York. She received two MFA degrees in sculpture: from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred Universityin 1999, and from Bard College in 2000. Amanda previously taught at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, and Alfred University in Alfred, New York.
Amanda’s work is exhibited and reviewed nationally. Recent exhibitions have been at the Elizabeth Leach Gallery and Portland Art Museum in Portland Oregon, the Buffalo Arts Studio (Buffalo, NY), and SPACES (Cleveland, Ohio). Other exhibition venues include Pierogi 2000 (Brooklyn, NY), the Everson Museum (Syracuse, NY), the Fine Arts Work Center (Provincetown,RI), the Earlville Opera House (Earlville, NY), Colgate University (Hamilton, NY), and the Arts Center of the Capital Region (Troy/Albany,NY).
Amanda is represented by the Elizabeth Leach Gallery. She lives and works in both Eugene and Ithaca, New York.
