All incoming grad students are eligible to apply for Graduate Teaching Fellowships, although priority goes to returning students. About 75% of students in the graduate program are awarded a GTF, which includes a tuition waiver and monthly stipend. The types of assignments are: provide instruction in a studio course; provide instruction in a lab tied to a lecture course; provide supervision and technical instruction in those studios requiring the use of tools and equipment; and director of the LaVerne Krause Gallery.
